2.1 Account Information (FeedbackWall Users)

When you create an account with us, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (if provided)
  • Password (encrypted)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Paddle, our payment provider)

2.2 Survey Responses (End Users of Apps)

When end users respond to surveys in apps using FeedbackWall, we collect:

  • Survey responses (multiple choice selections, ratings, free text)
  • Time of response
  • App version and iOS version
  • Device type (e.g., iPhone 15, iPad Pro)
  • Language setting
  • Country/region (based on device settings, not GPS)

2.3 What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect precise GPS location
  • We do not collect personal identifiers such as name, email, or phone number from end users
  • We do not use cross-site tracking cookies
  • We never sell your data to third parties

2.4 Optional User ID

App developers can choose to send an anonymized user ID with survey responses for segmentation purposes. This is optional and under the app developer's control. We recommend that developers only send hashed or pseudonymized IDs.

4.1 Essential Cookies

4.2 Analytics (DataFast)

With your explicit consent, we use DataFast (datafa.st) for website analytics. When you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner, we collect:

  • Pages you visit and time spent
  • Referrer (how you found us)

  • Country (based on IP, which is then anonymized)

If you choose "Essential only", no analytics data is collected and the DataFast script is never loaded.

4.3 No Third-Party Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or retargeting on our website. Your browsing data is never used for advertising purposes.

  • With app developers: Survey responses are shared with the app developer who has integrated FeedbackWall into their app

Our servers are located in the United States (West US, Oregon) on AWS infrastructure. As data is transferred to and processed in the US, we ensure appropriate safeguards through:

  • EU-US Data Privacy Framework compliance
  • EU Commission Standard Contractual Clauses
  • Use of trusted infrastructure providers (AWS) with appropriate certifications

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Account information: As long as your account is active, plus 2 years after deletion for accounting requirements
  • Survey responses: According to the app developer's settings, typically up to 3 years
  • Log files: Maximum 90 days

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a notice in the service. The current version will always be available on this page with the date of the last update.
